Job Summary

Responsible for managing accounting activities for three companies and six branches, ensuring accurate financial records, timely account closing and reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts for three companies, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Record and review daily sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Reconcile sales collections from branches and online platforms against cash, bank, e-wallet and payment gateway settlements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on collections.
• Prepare supplier payment schedules and payment documents for management approval.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Complete monthly account closing within the required deadlines.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Prepare branch sales and expense summaries for management review.
• Monitor cash flow, upcoming payments and financial commitments.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to reconcile inventory records, stock adjustments and stock valuation.
• Manage e-invoicing records and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare supporting documents for external auditors and tax agents.
• Maintain organised accounting records and keep financial information confidential.
• Perform other related accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Able to handle full sets of accounts independently.
• Experience managing accounts for multiple companies or retail operations is an advantage.
• Familiar with accounting software such as AutoCount or Wavelet GL.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines.
