Job Summary

Join us as a full-time Yoga Teacher to lead engaging classes for all levels, guiding safe practice and inspiring students to achieve wellness goals in a supportive studio environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging yoga classes tailored to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, to promote strength, flexibility, and mindful movement
• Demonstrate proper alignment and provide modifications to accommodate different abilities, injuries, and individual needs
• Guide students on the safe and effective use of yoga props such as blocks, straps, and bolsters during practice
• Motivate and encourage students to achieve their personal wellness and fitness goals through clear instruction and positive reinforcement
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming studio environment to ensure student comfort and safety
• Continuously update knowledge of the latest yoga styles, techniques, and wellness trends to enhance class quality and relevance

Required competencies and certifications

• Yoga teacher certification (RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching group yoga classes
• Ability to confidently teach a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin
• Strong understanding of anatomy, alignment, and injury prevention principles
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage and serve clients
• Friendly, punctual, and inclusive attitude
• Availability to work weekends and evenings according to class schedules

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• RYT 500 certification is an advantage
