About Our Client

An organisation within the energy and natural resources industry located in Kuala Lumpur.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance for enterprise retail applications and technology platforms.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change activities in line with IT service management (ITSM) processes.
• Ensure system stability, governance, synchronization, and operational readiness across supported environments.
• Support retail technology platforms including Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, inventory management solutions, retail computing devices, LSC systems, and related business applications.
• Collaborate closely with Digital Operations Specialists, retail site teams, HQ stakeholders, marketing, pricing, and inventory management departments.
• Participate in knowledge transfer and transition activities as part of ongoing support team expansion and operational improvements.
• Work with regional and global technology teams to ensure service continuity and resolution of business-critical issues.
• Contribute to major incident management and occasional after-hours support when required.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Possess

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale IT environments.
• Strong background in application support, infrastructure support, or enterprise technology operations.
• Experience managing incidents, service requests, changes, and operational support activities within an ITSM environment.
• Exposure to retail technologies such as POS systems, inventory management applications, retail store systems, or related enterprise platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of enterprise applications, cloud-based environments, and operational support models.
• Experience within retail, FMCG, petrol retail, or multi-site business environments would be highly advantageous.
• Relevant technology certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, etc.) are a plus.
