Role Description The Safety Security Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kuala Langat District. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and property assets, including regular patrols of hotel premises and monitoring of access points. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing security systems and alarm panels, responding to incidents and emergencies, completing incident reports, and coordinating with local emergency services when needed. The Safety Security Officer also supports guest interactions by providing courteous assistance, sharing safety information, and helping resolve security-related concerns. The position involves collaborating with hotel management to implement safety procedures, conduct drills and basic training, and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Physical Security and Alarm Systems operations.
• Experience working with Emergency Services and incident response.
• Ability to deliver Training related to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with a calm and professional approach in all interactions.
• Prior experience in hospitality, security, or safety-related roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of local safety regulations and basic first aid is an advantage.
• Ability to remain attentive, handle confidential information, and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in clear verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are beneficial.
