Senior Product Support Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment
Location: S$8,000

【Responsibilities】

• Apply established standards, processes, and procedures to provide support services for ATS’ line of Test Systems.
• Serve as a technical liaison for customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.
• Regularly monitor field performance activity and develop analytics commensurate with business needs.
• Mentor and support Field Service Group personnel, focusing on maximizing their abilities and improving the work environment.
• Troubleshoot and define diagnostic parameters to programmatically determine root causes.
• Travel to customer locations to perform technical functions, including repair, troubleshooting, and system installation as required; author incident reports as needed.
• Develop end-user documentation in support of product applications.
• Develop and provide technical training to internal staff members, including on-site field service engineers.
• Write and execute test plans for system-level component diagnostics.
• Build effective internal relationships; work both inter-departmentally and cross-functionally as needed for project assignments.
• Effectively incorporate field data from customers into work prioritization.
• Manage project assignments with a focus on delivering high-caliber results in a timely fashion.
• Maintain an understanding of high-priority engineering projects and contribute as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

【Requirements & Preferences】

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Production Support Engineer, or in a technical support, field service, or application engineering role within the semiconductor or automated test equipment (ATE) industry.
• Proficient in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical expertise with test and measurement equipment, as well as electrical or automation systems.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial computer systems and network architectures, with a proven ability to diagnose and rectify system anomalies.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, as the role involves leading international meetings and frequent interaction with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, customers, and business partners.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10% - 60%) to support customers, often on short notice and for extended periods.
• Must be available for overseas travel (e.g., Taiwan, Malaysia, US) up to 50% of the time.
