Responsibilities:

• Plan and create Indian cuisine dishes based on established recipes and menus
• Ensure that the quality of the food prepared meets the established standards
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, and ordering of supplies
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that they comply with safety and sanitation regulations
• Develop new Indian cuisine dishes and update the menu as needed
• Monitor food costs and ensure that the kitchen operates within the budget
• Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
• Ensure that the kitchen is clean, organized, and presentable at all times

Requirements:

• Expertise in Indian cuisine including preparation, cooking, and presentation of traditional and modern dishes
• Ability to create new and innovative recipes while maintaining authenticity
• Proficiency in using various Indian spices and herbs to create unique flavors
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices in a kitchen environment
• Experience in managing and training kitchen staff to maintain quality and consistency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage inventory, ordering, and scheduling
• Creativity and passion for the culinary arts with a desire to continuously learn and improve skills.
