We have an Immediate Opening Platform Engineer with our reputed Client.

Client Location Kuala Lumpur

Experience: 5+ years

Looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer with strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Kubernetes/OpenShift and Cloud Infrastructure. Candidate must be capable of independently managing container platforms, infrastructure automation, platform operations, troubleshooting and cloud environments. Experience with Microsoft Azure, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Linux administration is preferred. Candidate should be able to support both BAU operations and project delivery with minimal supervision while driving platform modernization and automation initiatives.

· Minimum >5 years hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, System Administration or Cloud Infrastructure.

· Strong experience managing Linux-based infrastructure and enterprise platform environments.

· Hands-on experience in:

o Infrastructure provisioning and automation.

o Platform administration and troubleshooting.

o System performance monitoring and optimization.

o Incident management and root cause analysis.

o Server hardening, patching and vulnerability remediation.

o High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) implementation.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation

· Strong hands-on experience with:

o Terraform

o Ansible

o Git / GitOps practices

· Experience automating infrastructure deployment and configuration management.

· Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Exposure to scripting using PowerShell, Bash or Python.

Kubernetes & Container Platform Skills

· Strong experience administering:

o Kubernetes

o OpenShift (preferred)

o Docker / Container platforms

· Hands-on experience in:

o Container deployment and lifecycle management.

o Cluster administration and troubleshooting.

o Ingress, Load Balancer and Service Mesh concepts.

o Monitoring and logging for container platforms.

o Security hardening and platform patching.

o Platform capacity and performance management.

Cloud Skills

· Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure.

· Knowledge of:

o Azure Virtual Machines

o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

o Azure Storage

o Azure Networking

o Azure Monitoring and Log Analytics

Understanding of cloud architecture, security and operational best practices.
