Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Receive, unload and prepare raw ingredients for production.
• Assist with marination, cooking and processing according to standard procedures.
• Operate food production equipment safely after training.
• Handle portioning, blast freezing, vacuum packing, labelling and storage.
• Carry out cleaning and sanitisation of the kitchen, equipment, utensils and work areas after production.
• Lift and move ingredients, trays and supplies using appropriate handling equipment or team assistance
• Follow food safety, halal, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other kitchen and production duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Kitchen or food production experience preferred; training provided.
• Able to stand for extended periods, handle physical tasks and work in chilled environments.
• Willing to handle raw meat and operate production equipment.
• Responsible, attentive to detail and able to work well in a team.
• Willing to work assigned shifts, including evenings where required.
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting and carrying
• WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification preferred; training can be arranged before food handling duties.
