Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, Event Management, Business, Multimedia or a related field.
Preferably 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in events, marketing, social media, design or corporate communications. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio may also be considered.
Good working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva or equivalent.
Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar would be an advantage.
Comfortable managing corporate social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Creative, resourceful and attentive to detail.
Confident in coordinating with vendors, partners and internal stakeholders.
Willing to work outside normal office hours occasionally when required for events.
Possess own transportation and willing to travel locally for events when required.
Responsibilities
Event Management
Plan, coordinate and execute corporate events, partner events, product launches, exhibitions, conferences, workshops and internal company activities.
Manage event requirements including venue sourcing, invitations, registration, catering, event materials, logistics, vendors and on site coordination.
Liaise with principals, business partners, customers, agencies and suppliers on event related matters.
Develop event timelines, checklists and budgets and ensure activities are delivered within agreed timelines and cost parameters.
Support post event reporting, photography, content collection and follow up activities.
Design & Creative
Design marketing and corporate materials including social media graphics, event backdrops, banners, invitations, presentation materials, posters, brochures and digital advertisements.
Ensure all creative materials are consistent with OGX Group's corporate identity and branding guidelines.
Work with external designers, printers and agencies where required.
Support the preparation and improvement of corporate presentations, company profiles and other marketing collateral.
Assist with basic photography, photo editing and video content for events and social media.
Social Media & Digital Content
Manage and maintain OGX Group's corporate social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant channels.
Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
Create, schedule and publish engaging content covering company developments, partnerships, events, products, achievements and corporate activities.
Write clear and professional captions and marketing copy.
Monitor social media engagement and provide basic performance reporting.
Identify opportunities to strengthen OGX Group's digital presence and corporate branding.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain relevant information, photographs and updates for publication.
