Summary

Leads team of intermediate to experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professionals, setting objectives and guiding others on executing and implementing supply chain strategy. Responsible for developing and improving commodity management and sourcing to processes to enhance price, quality, timing, and reliability.

Job Description

• Manages execution of commodity / account management and sourcing strategy.
• Implements supply chain strategies.
• Develops supplier selection process, meeting the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
• Negotiates awards contracts within specified spending limits and develops/approves new qualified sources of supply.
• Manages sourcing strategies, shares best practices, and defines acceptable service levels.
• Manages supplier negotiations, analyzes suppliers' operations, and recommends the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
• Validates accuracy of price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.

Responsibilities:

• Supports senior management across Supply Chain disciplines to identify gaps in processes and implementations.
• Oversee cost reduction projects and work with Container PMO to implement the projects
• NPI/Outsourcing Projects implementation
• Supports implementation of identified processes and monitors to closure.
• Supports identification of opportunities for cost reductions.
• Drive the Category team to meet the Material Productivity Target
• Responsible for Productivity Savings Report and data analysis.
• Engage support Regional PMO and Category leaders
• Spend data analysis for different business segments
• Work with Finance on the Yearly STD update and identify gaps
• Other support
• Monthly Operation Review and Material Productivity Review
• Quarterly Business Review
• Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan

Minimum Requirements

• Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.
• Has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
• University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience

• Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
