Job Description

Responsibilities

Our client is a leading global investment organisation looking to hire a Finance Operations Associate to join its Financial Accounting team on a 12-month contract.

The role offers broad hands-on exposure across Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense (T&E) and corporate card administration, alongside opportunities to contribute to process improvement, system enhancements and automation initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage vendor invoice processing accurately and within agreed timelines using SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
  • Perform vendor creation and maintenance, including callbacks and verification of vendor and bank information.
  • Support day-to-day Travel & Expense (T&E) processes, including reviewing expense claims and onward billing of expenses.
  • Manage corporate card administration end-to-end, including applications, bank liaison, card termination, monthly reconciliations and follow-up of outstanding transactions.
  • Work closely with employees, vendors and banks to resolve queries relating to invoices, payments, expense claims and corporate cards.
  • Support UAT, new system/tool implementations and process improvement initiatives, with a focus on using technology, automation and AI to reduce manual activities and improve efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong hands-on Accounts Payable experience.
  • Practical experience using an accounting/ERP system, with SAP experience strongly preferred and SAP VIM particularly advantageous.
  • Experience with T&E administration, corporate cards and/or Concur would be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to UAT, system implementations, process improvement or automation would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions and competing deadlines.
  • Proactive and hands-on, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, vendors and banks.
