• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Media or related field

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in content creation, social media management or marketing execution

• Strong portfolio of short-form video content — must submit with application

• Experience in beauty, hair, lifestyle or retail industries is a strong advantage

• Good copywriting skills in English and Chinese; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus

• Proficient in video editing — CapCut, InShot or similar tools at minimum; Adobe Premiere or After Effects is a plus

• Comfortable with photography and basic photo editing

• Familiar with Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights and TikTok analytics

• Organised — able to manage a content calendar and meet publishing deadlines

• Self-starter — does not wait to be given every brief before producing

Key responsibilities

Content Creation

• Plan, shoot, edit and publish short-form video content (Reels, TikTok) and static posts for APT Salon's social media channels

• Develop content ideas that are platform-native, on-trend and aligned with APT Salon's brand direction

• Produce content consistently — minimum output targets apply

• Work with stylists and outlet teams to capture behind-the-scenes, transformation and lifestyle content on location

• Write captions, hooks and copy that drive engagement and action

• Monitor content performance — track reach, engagement and saves; flag what is working and what is not

• Maintain an organised content library — photos, videos, templates — so assets are easy to find and reuse

Marketing Support

• Manage and maintain the monthly content calendar — plan ahead, fill slots, meet deadlines

• Support campaign rollouts across outlets — coordinate materials and ensure outlet teams are briefed

• Coordinate KOL and influencer seeding — brief, follow up, collect content and report results

• Support the marketing team on ad-hoc tasks — event preparation, collateral coordination, campaign reporting

• Liaise with agencies, vendors and outlet staff on marketing-related matters when needed

• 5 Working Days : Monday - Friday ( 9am - 6pm )
