Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and troubleshoot heavy vehicles such as lorries, trucks and tankers.
Conduct vehicle testing, servicing and preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
Diagnose vehicle faults and carry out appropriate repair and maintenance work.
Ensure repair activities comply with relevant regulations, technical specifications and company standards.
Maintain proper safety practices and good housekeeping in the workshop and work areas.
Report vehicle issues, repair requirements and other technical concerns to the relevant personnel.
Suggest practical improvements to vehicle maintenance and workshop processes where appropriate.
Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Valid Class 3 driving licence.
Forklift licence/certification is an advantage.
Basic working proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
1–2 years of relevant experience in automotive servicing, maintenance or repair.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
Willingness to learn and develop relevant technical knowledge and skills.
Ability to manage assigned responsibilities and follow established procedures.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify faults and suggest improvements.
Willingness to work outdoors and at operational sites as required.
