A well-established market leader within the consumer goods manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its leadership team. This is a strategic role offering the opportunity to influence business performance, drive operational excellence, and partner closely with senior management in shaping the company's next phase of growth.




Reporting directly to the Country CEO, you will lead the finance and procurement functions, serving as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on financial strategy, business expansion, operational efficiency, and investment decisions. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening profitability, enhancing business performance, and ensuring robust governance across the organisation.




Your new role

• Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, commercial decisions, pricing strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
• Drive profitability analysis, product costing optimisation, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate capital investments and business cases to support expansion and operational projects.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit management, and corporate governance requirements.
• Manage treasury activities, including cash flow planning, working capital optimisation, and banking relationships.
• Develop procurement strategies and cost management initiatives to enhance business performance.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance processes.
• Champion finance transformation, ERP enhancements, automation, and continuous process improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA or equivalent) with MIA membership.
• Proven track record in a senior finance leadership capacity such as Finance Director, Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or CFO.
• Strong experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally involving product costing and operational finance.
• In-depth knowledge of financial planning & analysis, management reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
• Commercially driven with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate financial insights into business decisions.
• Experience leading large finance teams and driving organisational change.
• Exposure to ERP systems and business intelligence tools will be advantageous.
