Job Description
Responsibilities
Social worker will be working with youths and their families in the community.
List of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Individualised case management, include conduct orientation for cases, conceptualise and identify appropriate approaches to develop case intervention goals from the onset and review according to timeline.
2. Work closely with the Probation Officers (POs) and Child protection officers (CPOs) for co-case management, and also other stakeholders including families, school and employers.
3. Develop partnership with stakeholders, including existing and prospective employers, schools and CSO agencies, pro-social communities for reintegration efforts, and community partners.
4. Prepare for, attend and present cases at various platforms to update on intervention progress.
5. Casework documentation for all case related records.
6. Liaise with Hostel Operations & Development Department, and provide essential information for Operation (Administration) to schedule for daily movement.
7. Conduct and participate in group work for residents
7. Support in other ad-hoc duties assigned as needed
Technical competencies
Knowledge of specialized theories and techniques to assess a case holistically using the relevant tools within the organisation;
Ability to conceptualize and formulate case plan that is relevant, realistic and achievable;
Work in compliance with company policies and standards.
Core competencies
Passionate about making a positive impact on lives of the youth.
Strong ability to engage youths and stakeholders, good coordinating ability, strong communication skill and has good administrative skill.

- Degree in Social Work or equivalent with 3 years of experience in social service sector or similar setting.
- Possess good knowledge and experiences with social work interventions; interest in growing clinical skills.
