We have an Immediate Opening SIEM/MDR Infra Specialist Support (combined L1 role) with our reputed Client.

Client Location CyberJaya, Malaysia

Work Mode – Onsite

Experience: 8+ Years

Certification Requirements: (Optional)

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Responsibilities

· Monitor health and availability of the SIEM and MDR platform infrastructure

· Onboard new log sources and prepare log baselines for new device additions

· Configure the SIEM console to collect, parse and normalise logs from new log sources

· Troubleshoot log source connectivity issues and track log stoppage

· Monitor connector and collector status and raise tickets for failures

· Verify daily automated backup jobs and raise tickets on backup failures

· Define and configure health monitoring parameters and their thresholds

· Raise tickets with the SIEM administrator when health thresholds are breached

· Perform recovery of data or configuration as needed

· Support license verification and capacity tracking for ingested log sources

· Apply approved changes to rules, scheduled reports and dashboards

· Maintain SIEM/MDR platform patching and version compliance in coordination with vendors

· Complete shift handover reports and daily infrastructure status reporting

· Escalate platform or infrastructure issues to the Delivery Lead as per the escalation matrix
