Our client is an established main contractor with a strong track record in delivering building and development projects in Singapore.

They are seeking an experienced Senior M&E Engineer to coordinate mechanical and electrical works on site, working closely with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure installations are completed according to project specifications, quality standards and construction schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E works with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, including drawings, technical submissions, materials and method statements.
• Monitor site progress, installation quality and compliance with approved drawings, specifications and authority requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors and work sequences, resolving technical issues and site clashes to minimise delays.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning (T&C) activities and authority inspections.
• Maintain M&E documentation, progress reports, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals and project records.
• Support workplace safety requirements, risk assessments and permit-to-work procedures.
• Assist with M&E work planning, construction schedules and material lead times.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E construction experience with a main contractor or M&E contractor.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, mixed-development or institutional building projects.
• Familiarity with M&E installation and coordination, including ACMV, electrical, fire protection, sanitary and plumbing systems, lifts and escalators.
• Experience in testing and commissioning (T&C) is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage project deliverables.

• Location: Depending on project
• Working hours: 5 Days and OT
• Salary: up to S$6,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
