What You'll Do

As a Senior Project Manager based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, you will play a pivotal role in driving complex engineering projects from initial feasibility through successful installation and customer acceptance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, technicians, fitters, customers, suppliers, and internal departments. You will be entrusted with structuring each phase of your projects for optimal efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to technical requirements and quality standards. By proactively identifying risks or deviations from plan early on, you will ensure smooth execution even in demanding environments. • Supervise all phases of assigned projects while acting as the primary point of contact for clients from order receipt through installation and warranty period at customer sites worldwide.
• Lead or contribute to multiple projects involving delivery of services or equipment, assuming full accountability for project costs, schedules, deadlines, resources or managing specific workstreams when collaborating with other project managers.
• Plan, structure, and manage project phases and milestones to optimise costs while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, maintaining high quality standards, and achieving customer satisfaction.
• Supervise, coordinate, and motivate project teams by closely monitoring progress across all project phases to ensure timely and effective execution.
• Identify risks, issues, and deviations from plan; propose and implement appropriate corrective actions to maintain project integrity.
• Collaborate closely with clients and suppliers to participate in strategic decision-making processes that contribute to overall project direction and alignment.
