Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant clinical experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide GP medical services, conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and therapies based on the diagnosis.
• Provide preventive care, including vaccinations, health screenings, and counselling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients (and their families) on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care techniques.
• Stay informed about the latest medical research, advancements, and best practices through continuous education and professional development.
• Adhere to medical ethics and standards of practice.
• Comply with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and professional standards.

Key Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school.
• Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and a valid Practising Certificate.
• Good clinical skills and judgment in patient management.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to build rapport quickly with patients, caregivers and colleagues.
• Willingness to continually update professional knowledge and skills.
• Health screening experience an advantage.
