The Service Crew supports daily restaurant operations by efficiently serving customers, collaborating with kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety to ensure smooth restaurant functioning.
Responsibilities
Perform restaurant opening and closing duties to prepare and secure the premises
Prepare condiments and in-house beverages to support meal service
Accurately handle ordering and cashiering tasks, ensuring correct orders and payments
Assist customers with ordering by providing clear information and guidance
Use product knowledge to answer customer queries about ingredients and menu items
Make recommendations and up-sell menu items to enhance customer experience
Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, professional service to meet their needs
Maintain restaurant cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, clearing tables, and wiping surfaces regularly
Follow all food and beverage safety, health, and hygiene policies and procedures consistently
Maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards according to restaurant guidelines
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred to assist diverse customers
Basic Food Hygiene certificate is an advantage but not required
Relevant experience in the food and beverage industry is beneficial but not mandatory
