Role Description<

The PruVenture Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for partial work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a team of takaful consultants within the PruVenture program, ensuring they achieve sales, service, and compliance targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, organizing training and development activities, and monitoring performance metrics to drive business growth. The PruVenture Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders to implement sales strategies, supports marketing and outreach initiatives, and ensures adherence to regulatory and company standards. The role also involves regular reporting, pipeline management, and fostering a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with PruBSN’s values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales and business development skills, with experience in financial services, insurance, or takaful preferred.
• Strong people leadership capabilities, including team recruitment, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present, influence, and build relationships across diverse groups.
• Good analytical and planning skills, including the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action plans.
• Familiarity with customer-centric service practices and basic understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
• Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and productivity applications to support hybrid working and remote team coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Tamil) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in agency management, distribution management, or leadership development programs is beneficial.
