As a Demi Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding cuisine that embodies the concept and style of Cafeteria. You will assist in daily kitchen operations, uphold the highest standards of food quality and safety, and contribute to an environment of creativity and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve service excellence and maximize guest satisfaction by providing high quality food, which reflects the style of the outlet concept
• Assist in daily kitchen operation
• Compile and prepare recipes, to ensure standardized products can be followed and maintained
• Compile and standardize recipes to ensure consistency and quality across all preparations
• Ensure all the orders for functions/events are properly followed
• Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times
• Ensure the cleanliness of equipment and food quality could meet club standards
• Ensure the food quality is up to the required standard
• Maintain food cost within budget
• Maintain food quality and hygiene standards in compliance with club requirements
• Monitor and maintain food costs within budgetary guidelines
• Prepare and present dishes that align with the outlet’s concept and Rosewood’s commitment to service excellence
• Support daily kitchen operations and ensure timely execution of orders for functions and events
• Take responsibility for the quality of all food prepared under your supervision
• Uphold impeccable standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety throughout all kitchen areas
• Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• Certificate in Food and Beverage/Hospitality Management
• Experience in trendy high-end restaurants is highly preferable
• Good spoken English and Cantonese
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a well-established hotel/clubhouse/restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Team player with good communication skills

Pay: $24,000.00 - $26,000.00 per month
