We are looking for a Linux System Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise Linux environments across on-premises infrastructure, AWS, and private cloud platforms. The role focuses on system administration, security, automation, performance, and service availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Linux servers.
• Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Amazon Linux environments.
• Perform patching, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Manage storage, filesystems, backups, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and access controls.
• Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, or AWS Systems Manager.
• Support monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Amazon CloudWatch.
• Maintain system documentation and follow security and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with RHEL and/or Amazon Linux.
• Knowledge of AWS, VMware, or private cloud environments.
• Experience with Linux troubleshooting, patching, backup, and recovery.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.
• Understanding of system security, monitoring, and high availability.

Added Advantage

• RHCSA, RHCE, AWS, VMware, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience with IT service management and regulated environments.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
