YTL DC SOUTH SDN BHD Hiring! Full Time EHS Supervisor in Johor - Ricebowl

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Implement, monitor, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and standards across data centre facilities to ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian legislation, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514), the Environmental Quality Act 1974, and other relevant statutory requirements.

2) Conduct routine site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and potential workplace hazards, and coordinate Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) activities.

3) Monitor contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with site-specific EHS requirements, policies, and procedures.

4) Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, scheduled waste handling, chemical handling, and pollution prevention, where applicable.

5) Conduct safety inductions, toolbox briefings, and EHS awareness programmes for employees and contractors, and carry out contractor safety inspections.

6) Coordinate EHS induction programmes for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure awareness of site safety requirements and emergency procedures.

7) Prepare and maintain EHS reports, inspection findings, incident statistics, and regulatory compliance updates.

8) Any ad-hoc task assigned by the superior.
