Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience handling full sets of accounts, preferably in general trading or import/export industries.

Work Style:Proven ability towork independently, manage tight monthly closing deadlines, and take ownership of the accounting function.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Trade Knowledge: Basic understanding of cross-border trade documentation and shipping terms (Incoterms) is highly advantageous.

Key Attributes: High accuracy in data entry, strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a high level of integrity when handling financial records.

Full Set of Accounts: Independently manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).

Multi-Currency Reconciliation: Handle transactions involving multiple foreign currencies and reconcile bank statements against international trade invoices.

Cost & Inventory Accounting: Monitor and record costs related to product procurement, logistics, customs duties, and global freight charges.

Invoicing & Payment Tracking: Issue timely invoices based on shipping documentation and closely track incoming bank transfers to record payments accurately.

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely monthly financial statements, profit and loss (P&L) reports, balance sheets, and month-end closings independently.

Tax & Compliance: Prepare relevant documentation for local tax compliance (such as SST/corporate tax filings) and coordinate with external auditors.
