Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Events, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7 to 9 years in brand management, corporate events, communications or stakeholder engagement, managing complex projects. Experience leading corporate events or brand activations with multiple stakeholders, agencies and vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project, events, design or content tools. Strong spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Working knowledge of brand governance, production, procurement, budgeting, protocol, safety and risk management.
• Experience in listed companies, plantation, sustainability, corporate affairs or consumer businesses is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Group-wide event portfolio and master calendar; oversee delivery, brand consistency, sustainability practices and corporate merchandise inventory.
• Secure thought leadership placements; coordinate stakeholders, agencies, organizers and vendors.
• Develop annual plans, budgets and measures; lead cross-functional projects and manage resources.
• Lead event risk and contingency plans, crisis communication protocols and ROI reporting.
• Establish and improve unit processes, operating standards, quality assurance and reporting mechanisms.
• Evaluate event performance and stakeholder experience, recommend improvements, coach team members and support the Head of Department on strategic and management matters.
