Job Title: Compliance Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical, meticulous, and governance-minded Compliance Manager to oversee our regulatory alignment, corporate policies, and risk management pipelines. In this role, you will serve as the primary internal authority on local statutory updates, ensuring that all organizational practices, operational workflows, and employee contracts align perfectly with legislative standards. Partnering closely with Legal, Human Resources, and cross-functional leadership, you will proactively mitigate structural vulnerabilities and design sustainable compliance playbooks that safeguard the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Governance & Compliance: Monitor, interpret, and enforce absolute compliance with national frameworks, statutory codes, and localized industry directives.
  • Policy Review & Formulation: Review, audit, and design corporate compliance frameworks, internal operating manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and code of conduct documentation.
  • Risk Advisory & Diagnostics: Serve as an internal consultant providing objective, data-backed risk assessments, identifying process control gaps, and formulating scalable remediation roadmaps.
  • Audit Readiness & Reporting: Coordinate internal quality assurance checks, perform proactive compliance reviews, and prepare comprehensive technical portfolios for external statutory audits or regulatory inspections.
  • Incident Triage & Mitigation: Direct and systematically document internal investigations regarding corporate non-compliance, control breaches, or structural procedural exceptions, executing clear corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Capability & Awareness Building: Establish internal compliance resources and host regular corporate hygiene workshops to train cross-functional teams and operational managers on progressive compliance habits.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.), Business Administration, Finance, Corporate Governance, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Experience: Demonstrated professional track record in corporate legal operations, regulatory compliance management, internal risk auditing, or policy development workflows.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong working familiarity with Singapore's regulatory infrastructure, data privacy frameworks (such as PDPA), and modern digital tracking or document control environments.
  • Competencies: Superior critical thinking capabilities, strict confidentiality habits, absolute attention to numerical and textual detail, and an objective problem-solving approach under tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills to co-author clear legal briefs and summarize complex regulatory statutes for board-level stakeholders.

Pay: $7,500.00 - $9,500.00 per month
