Role Description The Technical Training Specialist / Senior Technical Training Specialist / Technical Training Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and improving technical training programs for instructors, staff, and learners in a fully remote environment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting training needs assessments, creating curriculum and learning materials, and facilitating live and recorded training sessions on the academy’s tools, platforms, and processes. The role involves providing technical support related to learning systems, documenting best practices, and maintaining training resources and knowledge bases. This position also collaborates with academic and technical teams to ensure that training content aligns with educational standards and platform capabilities, while monitoring learner feedback and performance to optimize training outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, interpret data, and improve program effectiveness.
• Experience in technical support, with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to online learning platforms, tools, and systems.
• Proficiency in training & development and technical training, including curriculum design, content creation, and delivery of remote training sessions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts clearly, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting diverse learners.
• Experience in e-learning, instructional design, or educational technology, preferably within an online academy or higher education setting.
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., training, instructional design, LMS administration) are an advantage.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), virtual classroom tools, and collaboration platforms; experience with AI or cybersecurity education is a plus.
