EAM Systems Integration Hiring! Full Time M-E Project Manager in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Description of Work:

EAM Systems Integration Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Project Manager (M&E) to lead the delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects, with a strong emphasis on HVAC/ACMV and integrated building services.

Our target sectors include semiconductor, data centres, cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities and advanced manufacturing. You will manage projects from tender, initiation, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, and final handover.

As part of our growing Malaysia team, you will work closely with the General Manager to establish effective project delivery practices, build relationships with clients and subcontractors, and deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality.

What a typical day looks like:

• Take ownership of project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and contractual deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, procurement schedules, resource plans and risk registers.
• Lead coordination between clients, consultants, engineering teams, suppliers and subcontractors across MEP and civil, structural and architectural interfaces.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions and construction methods with the engineering team to resolve issues before installation.
• Manage long-lead equipment procurement, technical approvals and delivery schedules to support construction milestones.
• Monitor progress, identify critical-path risks and implement practical recovery plans.
• Track project costs, cash-flow forecasts, progress claims, variations and subcontractor payments with the commercial team.
• Lead client meetings and provide clear reports on progress, risks, decisions and required actions.
• Oversee testing and commissioning, defect resolution, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and project closeout.
• Support tender reviews, constructability assessments and subcontractor evaluations when required.
• Help develop practical project procedures, reporting templates and delivery standards as EAM grows.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of relevant MEP construction experience, including at least 5 years managing projects or major MEP packages.
• Demonstrated experience delivering construction projects through installation, testing and commissioning, and handover.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC/ACMV systems, including chilled-water systems, AHUs, ventilation, ductwork, piping and associated controls.
• Ability to coordinate electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection and BMS interfaces with relevant specialists.
• Experience in cleanrooms, semiconductor facilities, data centres, pharmaceutical facilities or industrial manufacturing projects is a strong advantage.
• Practical experience in project scheduling, procurement, cost control, variations and subcontractor management.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts and technical submissions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
• Strong client communication, negotiation, problem-solving and team leadership skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently within a lean, growing organization.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across Malaysia as required.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
