We are seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to join a leading organisation in the semiconductor industry. This role focuses on technology implementation, process optimisation, manufacturing quality and yield improvement. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the implementation, transfer and optimisation of advanced manufacturing technologies to achieve stable production performance and high product quality. 
• Coordinate technology introduction activities and ensure new processes are successfully implemented within manufacturing operations. 
• Oversee prototype development and initial production activities, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of technical issues. 
• Drive process improvement initiatives through data analysis, structured investigations and cross-functional collaboration. 
• Monitor manufacturing performance and identify opportunities to improve process consistency, product quality and production yield. 
• Investigate manufacturing abnormalities and product performance issues, working with relevant engineering teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions. 
• Collaborate with product and process engineering teams to address product-specific issues and improve overall manufacturing performance. 
• Work with customer-facing teams to investigate technical concerns, provide relevant findings and support timely resolution. 
• Ensure compliance with internal operating procedures, engineering change controls, safety requirements and information security policies. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency and operational reliability. 
• Lead cross-functional projects and support team development to achieve departmental objectives. 

Requirements 

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, yield improvement or related engineering functions. 
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, product performance and process optimisation. 
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills. 
• Familiarity with data analysis, statistical methods and quality improvement techniques. 
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across different technical teams. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with data analysis software would be an advantage. 
• Demonstrates a proactive mindset, strong attention to quality and a commitment to continuous improvement.
