We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager who can take ownership of financial reporting, fund accounting, taxation, treasury and financial controls within a property development and investment environment.

You'll work closely with management to provide accurate financial insights, monitor fund performance and support important business and investment decisions.

Who We're Looking For

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, fund accounting or financial management
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or CMA are an advantage
• Experience in private funds, investment entities or fund administration is preferred
• Experience in property development finance is relevant to this position
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation and statutory compliance
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
• Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections
• Good understanding of financial controls, audit requirements and treasury management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Able to communicate financial information clearly to management and stakeholders
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities independently
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred

What You'll Be Responsible For

1. Keep Fund Financial Reporting Accurate & Reliable

• Prepare timely monthly financial statements for funds under management
• Deliver monthly PDM and management reports with meaningful financial analysis
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
• Oversee accounting processes to maintain accuracy and compliance

2. Strengthen Financial Planning & Performance

• Prepare and review annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Analyse actual financial performance against budgets and projections
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, variance reports and management updates
• Highlight financial risks, performance trends and improvement opportunities

3. Manage Fund Liquidity & Treasury Activities

• Review capital call projections and funding requirements
• Monitor liquidity to support operational and investment commitments
• Assist in reviewing financing arrangements, loan facilities and drawdown requirements
• Maintain appropriate financial controls to safeguard fund assets

4. Oversee Taxation, Audit & Statutory Compliance

• Manage corporate tax and applicable indirect tax submissions
• Coordinate with tax agents and advisers on compliance matters
• Liaise with external auditors and oversee annual audit processes
• Review statutory financial statements for compliance with MFRS and applicable requirements
• Ensure audit findings are resolved within agreed timelines

5. Improve Financial Controls & Governance

• Ensure transactions comply with approved financial policies and procedures
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements
• Strengthen financial processes, reporting accuracy and accountability
• Support management with reliable financial information for decision-making
