Our client is a Singapore-based semiconductor equipment company that builds high-precision automated systems for chipmakers worldwide. You’ll own the electrical design of its machines, from control panel architecture to testing and on-site commissioning.

What You’ll Do

• Design and document high- and low-voltage control panels for automated semiconductor equipment
• Turn customer specifications into electrical designs, and select components that meet performance and durability requirements
• Produce electrical CAD schematics, wire lists and BOMs to “copy exact” standards
• Develop electrical test, setup and calibration procedures, and analyse performance data
• Make sure designs comply with international safety standards (e.g. UL, CE, SEMI S2)
• Work with the mechanical and automation teams to integrate hardware and software
• Provide on-site support during manufacturing, integration and customer acceptance testing

Core Key Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years in electrical system design for industrial or automated equipment
• Hands-on experience designing high- and low-voltage control panels
• Proficient in electrical CAD tools (e.g. EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical)
• Working knowledge of UL, CE, ISO or SEMI S2 standards
• Experience with diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes and power quality analysers
• Methodical approach to diagnosing faults and signal noise
• Willing to travel frequently and take on extended on-site assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience in the semiconductor, aerospace or industrial automation sectors
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• Experience with Beckhoff or EtherCAT-based systems
