Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vital signs and overall health conditions
• Administer medications, intravenous (IV) fluids, enteral feedings via VG/PEG tube, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and recovery.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist with triage when required.
• Administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication.
• Checking for infection, bedsores and wounds in the patient.
• Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing the progress of healing.
• Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable.

Requirements:

• Possession of at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of clinical nursing experience (experience in a caregiver home, nursing home, or geriatric/palliative ward is an advantage).
• Compassion & Patience: A genuine heart for senior citizens, demonstrating high empathy, patience, and emotional stability.
• A Malaysian and ability to converse in English and BM (Mandarin is an added advantage for communicating with residents).
• Professionalism: High accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining precise patient health records.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
