Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Human Machine Interface (HMI) graphics, control strategy databases developement, software / hardware installation & related reporting for adherence to operation & project requirements.
- Prepares drawings & related project document for DCS & other related control system requirements; assists in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) & related testing of control system packages as necessary; support Engineer/Lead Engineer in project implementation.
- Responsible for installing & commissioning of control system; implementing technical strategy & solutions related to control systems. To follow projects standards code & practices and comply to all HSE requirement.
- Participates in the development & design of control systems architecture; translating system/control requirement into detailed design specification for operational & small/medium/large project.
- Travel to site for meeting, installation, testing & commissioning of control system for project, maintenance & operational works; responsible for related reporting & documentation as required to tasks assigned; maintain good relation & communication with internal & external customer; advice strategy & solution & when required.
- Meets costs & work standards by following process, enhance productivity, increase quality & customer service standards, resolving engineering problems, identifying work process improvements & implementing cost saving actions.
- Enhances department & organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new & different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Increase competency by acquire new knowledge, attending relevent/required training, participate & complete Engineer Development Program and implement it during project execution.
- Assume responsibility of other relevant tasks as assigned from time to time
