Job Scope

• Supervise daily civil and structural construction activities, including earthworks, excavation, foundation, piling, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, masonry, and structural works.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
• Inspect reinforcement bars, formwork, concrete works, and other structural components before concrete casting.
• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate site inspections with consultants, engineers, and relevant authorities.
• Identify construction defects and ensure corrective actions are carried out.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and workers.
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress and ensure proper resource allocation.
• Attend site meetings and communicate site issues, progress updates, and construction requirements.
• Ensure site activities comply with occupational safety and health requirements and project safety procedures.
• Monitor workers' compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safe work practices.
• Identify potential hazards and report unsafe conditions to the safety team or site management.
• Prepare daily site reports covering manpower, equipment, materials, work progress, and site issues.
• Monitor material deliveries and coordinate site resources to prevent construction delays.
• Report delays, discrepancies in drawings, technical issues, and variations to the project manager or site engineer.
• Maintain site records, inspection checklists, concrete casting records, and relevant construction documentation.
• Assist in coordinating inspection requests and ensuring work is ready for inspection.
• Ensure the latest approved construction drawings and specifications are available on-site.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in civil and structural construction works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of reinforcement, formwork, concreting, and general structural construction methods.
• Good coordination, communication, problem-solving, and site supervision skills.
• Familiarity with construction safety requirements and quality control procedures.
• Willingness to work on-site and support project requirements.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
