Company Background:

We represent a well-established Malaysian company in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, currently seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead overall business and restaurant operations. The position is based at Publika, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Responsibilites:

• Lead the overall execution of business and operational plans across the Group.
• Oversee restaurant operations and key support functions including HR, Administration, Marketing, Culinary, and Central Kitchen.
• Lead and develop the Group General Manager and functional heads, ensuring clear accountability and strong performance.
• Monitor business performance, P&L, budgets, labour and food costs, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Drive operational standards, SOPs, service quality, food safety, inventory, and cash controls.
• Lead management reviews, track key initiatives, and ensure agreed actions are delivered on time.
• Identify operational risks, resolve cross-functional issues, and provide clear recommendations to the CEO.
• Support business growth, new outlet launches, promotions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Build a strong leadership culture through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager, Head of Operations, or in a comparable senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multiple business units, locations, or departments.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, labour planning, inventory, cost control, and operational performance.
• F&B or restaurant experience is advantageous.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Flexible working hours)
