A medical device manufacturer is looking for a Customer Quality Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) based in Johor.

My client is a well-established manufacturer supporting the production of high-precision products for the healthcare and life sciences sector. With rapid business growth, they are now looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join their team at Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your customer quality expertise within a technically driven operation.

Your new role

• Serve as the primary quality representative for assigned customer accounts and oversee overall quality performance.
  
• Manage customer complaints, returns and escalations through containment, root-cause investigation and sustainable corrective actions.
  
• Develop inspection and control plans based on customer specifications and applicable product requirements.
  
• Coordinate customer change notifications and assess proposed changes involving processes, materials, tooling or suppliers.
  
• Support customer, certification and internal audits while maintaining accurate quality documentation and records.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 is a MUST.
  
• Hands-on experience in customer quality, supplier quality or manufacturing quality within a regulated production environment.
  
• Practical knowledge of structured problem-solving tools, including 8D, root-cause analysis and corrective action management.
  
• Familiarity with quality documentation such as control plans, PFMEA, work instructions and product history records.
  
• Exposure to process validation activities, including IQ, OQ and PQ, would be advantageous.
  
• Proficiency in English & Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
