Production Supervisor

ROLE: Being the production functional team working together to achieve business objectives. Accountable for supervising operators at production line to operate machine, assemble parts and perform production tasks to manufacture air conditioning and related products in accordance with quality, safety and efficiency standards.

RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Supervise daily production activities according to approved production plans and schedules.

2. Prepare daily production reports, manpower reports, downtime reports, and all other related reports.

3. Allocate manpower effectively based on production demand and skill level.

4. Lead, coach, and motivate production operators, leaders and technicians.

5. To improve production efficiency by reducing line downtime and idle lines.

6. Ensure production activities comply with work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards.

7. Support new product introduction (NPI), line setup, and trial production.

8. Handle disciplinary matters in accordance with company policy and Malaysian labour law, in coordination with HR.

9. Ensure 6S and housekeeping for work station or area.

10. To follow strictly safety, health and environmental regulatory, standard procedures & requirement.

11. To adhere & comply with Company policies, rules, regulations and government legislation.

12. Any other tasks or duties as assigned by superior/management from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1.Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.

2.Minimum 3–5 years experience in manufacturing production environment.

3.Preferably with experience in HVAC / air-conditioner / electro-mechanical assembly manufacturing.

4.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production line management.

5.Basic understanding of quality control, safety practices, and equipment operation 6.Strong leadership and supervision skills.

7.Extended hours may be required to support production demand.

8.Good problem-solving and analytical ability.

9.Able to communicate effectively with operators, engineers, and management.

10.Able to work under pressure, adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 11.Proficiency & experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

12.Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
