The Role


We are launching a new event within our Travel portfolio and are looking for a Marketing Executive to join us on a six-month contract, supporting the campaign from launch through to delivery.


Reporting to the APAC Head of Marketing, you will join a collaborative, diverse and enthusiastic marketing team and gain hands-on experience across the full event marketing lifecycle.


You will support the planning, coordination and execution of multi-channel marketing activities designed to build awareness, engage our target audience and drive attendance. With structured onboarding and support from the wider team, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of key campaign activities while developing practical experience in B2B event marketing.


This role is well suited to fresh graduates or those early in their marketing career who are looking to gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in B2B and events marketing. We support new members with dedicated training and development time to evolve their existing skill set and build key marketing capabilities.


You will be responsible for


  • Work with existing partners and stakeholders, including speakers, sponsors, influencers, media partners and industry associations, to coordinate and deliver joint marketing activities across social media, email, digital content, advertising, banners and event listings.


  • Support the execution of email marketing campaigns to engage target audiences, build awareness and generate demand for the event.


  • Manage event social media channels, with a primary focus on LinkedIn, including content planning, copywriting, basic creative development and scheduling posts to grow awareness, engagement and followers.


  • Research and conduct outreach to relevant associations, industry bodies and business groups to develop mutually beneficial marketing partnerships.


  • Update event websites and create campaign landing pages, ensuring content is accurate, relevant and aligned with wider marketing activity.


  • Contribute new campaign ideas and identify opportunities to test different messaging, channels and tactics to improve marketing performance.


Skills / Characteristics


A recognised university degree, ideally in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline. Recent university graduates are encouraged to apply.


The ideal candidate would have evidence of:

- A basic understanding of marketing principles and an interest in developing practical marketing experience.

- A creative mindset, with some familiarity with digital design tools such as Canva.

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.

- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work both collaboratively and independently.

- A genuine desire to pursue a career in events marketing and develop an understanding of B2B direct and inbound marketing.
