Line Cook / Commis Chef / Chef De Partie
Job Description
Prepare and cook Greek and Mediterranean cuisine according to restaurant recipes, quality standards and food safety requirements.
Carry out daily mise en place, food preparation, grilling, hot kitchen and line cooking duties.
Operate assigned kitchen stations efficiently during service.
Work with the Head Chef / Sous Chef to maintain consistent food quality, portioning and presentation.
Assist with preparation of Greek dishes, grilled meats, vegetables, sauces, dips and other Mediterranean dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Handle and store food ingredients properly to minimize wastage.
Assist with stock checking and basic kitchen inventory.
Follow kitchen procedures, food safety and workplace safety guidelines.
Job Requirements
A Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Commis Cook or Chef.
Experience in Greek or Mediterranean cuisine is preferred.
Knowledge of grilling, hot kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Familiar with food hygiene and safety standards
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Salary
SGD 2,600 – 3,200 per month (commensurate with experience)
