Job Description

Responsibilities

About Us

We are a Singapore-based boutique architectural practice specialising in experience design, residential, conservation, commercial mixed-use, and retail projects. Our directors bring over two decades of award-winning experience across landmark international and local projects. We are small by design — everyone here does meaningful work, and every drawing matters.

The Role

This is a full-time Technical Designer/Coordinator position based in Singapore. You will play a dual role: working independently to produce and manage your own sets of technical drawings, while also supporting the Senior Architect / Associate on more complex project deliverables. You will be the technical backbone of our project documentation — ensuring drawings are accurate, coordinated across disciplines, and ready for authority submissions. You will also have exposure to site supervision and direct consultant coordination, making this a well-rounded role with real breadth.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and manage comprehensive architectural drawings for technical coordination and authority submissions, including under the new Regulatory Approval of Building Works (RABW) process
  • Work both independently on your own drawing sets and in close support of the Senior Architect / Associate
  • Coordinate technical drawings with engineers and other consultants to ensure cross-discipline consistency and accuracy
  • Assist with site supervision — verifying that works on site are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
  • Manage drawing registers, revisions, and submission records with rigour and consistency
  • Ensure all documentation meets Singapore building codes, regulations, and authority requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing standards, templates, and BIM workflows within the practice

What Makes This Role Unique

This is not a role where you will be pushing drawings in the background. Here is what sets it apart:

Your work shapes real outcomes. In a boutique practice, every drawing you produce carries weight. You will see your technical contributions translate directly into built projects — from a landed GCB to a Mixed-Use Development.

Breadth, not just depth. You will handle both independent work and collaborative support, coordinate with consultants, and step onto site — giving you a fuller picture of the architectural process than most technical roles allow.

A team that values craft. We care deeply about quality and precision. If you are someone who takes pride in a well-coordinated drawing set, you will fit right in.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma in Architecture, Design, or a related field from a recognised Polytechnic (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in architectural draughting and technical drawing production
  • Proven experience preparing architectural drawings for authority submissions and technical coordination
  • Familiarity with the new Regulatory Approval process for Building Works (RABW) Corenet X as well as the existing Corenet 2.0 process.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
  • Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D visualisation and design communication
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite for presentation and documentation purposes
  • Good understanding of Singapore building codes and regulations
  • Experience coordinating with structural, M&E, and other consultants
  • Exposure to site supervision and construction administration
  • Meticulous attention to detail — you check your work, and then check it again
  • Ability to manage multiple drawing sets and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Clear and professional verbal communication skills

Who You Are

You are a technically experienced and dependable drafter who takes genuine pride in your craft. You understand that a well-prepared drawing set is not just a deliverable — it is the difference between a smooth approval and a frustrating one, between a build that goes to plan and one that does not. You work well independently but are equally comfortable as part of a close-knit team. You are organised, diligent, and you never cut corners on the details. You are someone who desires to grow into a Technical Design Leader within the practice.

Singaporeans and Singapore PRs are preferred for this role.

If you are ready to bring your technical expertise to a practice that genuinely values it, we would love to hear from you.
