A global medical technology leader is looking for a Buyer to manage procurement of direct and regulated materials. You will build strong supplier partnerships and keep supply running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage quotations and prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials and supplies
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and avoid stock-outs
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and supplier performance
• Maintain purchase order health, including ageing, past-due and open orders
• Procure direct and regulated indirect materials from local and overseas suppliers
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate favourable terms
• Support localisation, direct sourcing and business continuity projects
• Analyse purchasing data and prepare reports to identify improvement opportunities
• Apply planning tools such as MRP and supplier collaboration to balance demand and supply
• Determine optimal inventory levels while managing working capital

What You'll Bring

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline and above
• Hands-on procurement and buying experience, not only supplier relationship management
• Strong preference for manufacturing and raw-material procurement experience
• Solid vendor and supplier management skills
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Able to coordinate across time zones, including occasional evening calls
• Detail-oriented and organised
