About the role:

We are partnering with a leading global container shipping company to hire a Shipping Operations Executive (1-Year Contract). This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and junior professionals looking to build a career within the maritime, shipping, and logistics industry.

In this role, you will support customer account management and revenue administration activities, including billing coordination, data reconciliation, customer communications, and contract administration. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and customers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high levels of service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer customer accounts by maintaining contract information, billing records, and commercial data to support accurate invoicing.
• Review shipment and utilisation reports, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare billing documents, reconciliation reports, and supporting schedules in accordance with customer agreements.
• Liaise with customers on billing matters, statement confirmations, account enquiries, and dispute resolution.
• Work closely with internal departments to support revenue-related activities and ensure timely completion of operational processes.
• Assist with reporting, documentation, process improvements, and other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with internship or prior experience in shipping, logistics, customer service, billing, or administration will have an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• A proactive team player with good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
