About The Job.

As a Freight Operations Coordinator, you will oversee multi-modal shipment executions and client communications.

• Manage end-to-end air and ocean freight bookings while tracking shipment milestones to ensure timely delivery and proactive client updates.
• Prepare and verify essential transport documentation, including bills of lading, airway bills, commercial invoices, and packing manifests.
• Evaluate client shipping requirements to recommend cost-effective transit modes while clarifying international trade terms and liability parameters.
• Resolve operational challenges such as customs holds and capacity constraints while handling cargo claims and contingency routing.
• Perform billing administrative tasks and audit carrier, haulier, and warehouse invoices against agreed rate cards.
  
  

Skills And Experience Required.

• Practical knowledge of multi-modal import and export operations, trade documentation, and local customs regulatory procedures.
• Demonstrated capability in coordinating shipment lifecycles and maintaining accurate operational tracking.
• Familiarity with logistics management software and standard office productivity suites.
• Sound problem-solving capability to resolve freight disruptions and execute contingency transport plans.
• Understanding of cargo clearance requirements across licensed manufacturing warehouses and free trade zone environments.
