Job Summary

We are looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to join YC Capital and support the company's financial planning, corporate finance, performance management, and strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and senior management to provide financial insights, manage corporate financial activities, strengthen financial controls, and support the company's business growth across the F&B operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Finance & Financial Planning

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
• Prepare financial models, business plans, and financial projections to support business decisions.
• Monitor the company's financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and business targets.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the CFO and management.

2. Management Reporting & Business Analysis

• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, and performance dashboards.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, and key financial indicators.
• Identify financial trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide actionable insights to support business and operational decision-making.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Monitor cash flow requirements and working capital position.
• Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Analyse receivables, payables, inventory, and other working capital components.
• Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to improve cash flow efficiency.

4. Business & Investment Analysis

• Evaluate new business initiatives, outlet expansion, capital expenditure, and investment opportunities.
• Prepare feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and financial business cases.
• Support management in assessing the financial impact of strategic projects and expansion plans.

5. Financial Controls & Governance

• Strengthen financial policies, processes, and internal controls.
• Ensure financial activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
• Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Work with internal and external auditors when required.

6. F&B Financial Performance

• Monitor financial performance across outlets and business units.
• Analyse outlet-level profitability, food cost, labour cost, operating expenses, and other key F&B metrics.
• Support management in identifying cost optimisation and profitability improvement opportunities.
• Work with Operations and other departments to improve financial performance.

7. Strategic Support to CFO

• Support the CFO in corporate finance initiatives, financial projects, and strategic planning.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and financial insights for management meetings.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax advisors, investors, and other external stakeholders when required.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and projects assigned by the CFO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, MIA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, FP&A, financial planning, management reporting, or related areas.
• Experience in the F&B, retail, hospitality, or multi-outlet business environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of cash flow, working capital, and corporate finance principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work with senior management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
