Hiring: Application DBA / Stored Procedure Developer | Singapore

We are looking for an experienced Application DBA / Stored Procedure Developer with strong expertise in Sybase stored procedures, T-SQL, and database migration to support database modernization and migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse, document, and reverse-engineer existing Sybase stored procedures and embedded business logic.
• Convert and re-engineer stored procedures from Sybase to T-SQL or an equivalent target SQL platform.
• Perform functional validation to ensure converted procedures produce equivalent results.
• Collaborate with application developers to resolve database and application logic dependencies.
• Support schema migration, data integrity checks, migration testing, and cutover activities.

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of application-level database development or stored procedure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Sybase stored procedures and database architecture.
• Proficiency in T-SQL / SQL Server or equivalent target SQL dialect.
• Experience in stored procedure conversion, complex business logic analysis, and database migration.
• Strong skills in SQL troubleshooting and functional validation.

Good to Have: ETL pipelines, data migration methodologies, and schema conversion experience.
