ABOUT LIFE SYNERGY MEDICAL FOUNDATION (LSMF)
Life Synergy Medical Foundation (LSMF) is a registered non-profit organisation supporting low-income patients and underprivileged individuals facing medical, financial and social challenges.
As the charitable arm of The Life Care International Medical Group, LSMF focuses primarily on renal patient welfare, supporting haemodialysis patients through Caring Synergy Renal’s dialysis centres in Peninsular Malaysia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily administration, documentation, records and correspondence.
- Maintain governance, statutory and compliance records, including Board documents, LHDN requirements and AML/CFT donation records.
- Coordinate Board of Trustees meetings, minutes, reports and follow-up actions.
- Manage patient welfare applications, supporting documents, assistance records and related reporting.
- Coordinate with dialysis centres, clinics and welfare teams on patient assistance cases.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, corporate partners, CSR teams, funders and community organisations.
- Identify and develop fundraising opportunities, sponsorships, grants and community campaigns.
- Prepare sponsorship proposals, presentations, reports and donor communications.
- Manage donor acknowledgements and LHDN-compliant tax-exempt receipts.
- Support LSMF’s social media, website, events, health programmes and community outreach.
- Prepare reports and updates for the Chairman and Board of Trustees.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Social Work or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration, fundraising, non-profit/NGO management or a related role.
- Experience in a charity, foundation or regulated organisation is an advantage.
- Knowledge of LHDN tax-exempt donation requirements and AML/CFT is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Good skills in Microsoft Office; CRM or donor management experience is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Confident in dealing with donors, corporate partners and external stakeholders.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Willing to travel for donor meetings, outreach programmes and events.
