Role Summary

The Production Technician performs day-to-day operational tasks on the production floor, including equipment operation, parts cleaning/processing, quality checks, and adherence to safety and cleanroom protocols. This role ensures products and processes meet company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform parts cleaning, inspection, and handling in line with cleanroom/process requirements
• Conduct in-process quality checks and record data accurately
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S)
• Report equipment issues, defects, or deviations to the Process Engineer/Supervisor promptly
• Support routine equipment maintenance and cleaning schedules
• Participate in training sessions on safety, quality, and process updates
• Maintain accurate production and quality records/logs

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N'/'O' Level or equivalent technical certification
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, cleanroom, or semiconductor environment preferred (not mandatory for entry-level)
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle equipment/parts
• Basic literacy in English for reading SOPs and completing records
