Genting Simon Hiring! Full Time Senior Manager - Finance in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Finance with a minimum of 15 years of comprehensive financial experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of regional (Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia) financial operations, including financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, compliance, treasury, international tax, transfer pricing, and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and execute financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to optimize profitability and efficiency.
2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.., GAAP, IFRS). Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
3. Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting. Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
4. Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships. Mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies.
5. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Manage tax audits and filings.
6. International Tax: Oversee international tax planning and compliance for cross-border transactions and operations.
7. Transfer Pricing: Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and documentation. Conduct transfer pricing studies and prepare documentation to support intercompany transactions. Manage transfer pricing audits and disputes.
8. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and consultants. Collaborate with external parties to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
9. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
10. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry best practices. Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Other Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum 15 years of progressive financial experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS).
4. Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
5. Expertise in treasury management, tax compliance, risk management, and transfer pricing.
6. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills as the candidate will be managing close to 20 finance personnel in the organization.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
8. Advanced proficiency in financial software and systems.
9. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is an advantage.
