Role Description The Technical Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Johore, Malaysia. This role is responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems, including Central Monitoring Service equipment, CCTV systems, alarm systems, and related hardware and software. The Technical Executive will perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, and will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The role includes preparing technical documentation and reports, assisting with system upgrades and testing, and providing on-site support and guidance to customers and colleagues. The Technical Executive is expected to adhere to safety standards, follow company procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of service quality.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in electronic security systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and basic networking, with the ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications, and to prepare clear technical reports and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault finding and preventive maintenance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide customer-focused technical support.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, IT, or a related technical field; professional certifications in security or networking are an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site, travel within the region as needed, and respond to emergencies or after-hours calls when required.
- Basic proficiency in using standard office and reporting tools; familiarity with safety standards and workplace health and safety practices.
- Previous experience in security systems, facilities management, or technical field service is preferred but not mandatory.
